The Face of Sofia on the DamaCast podcast, Bulgarian National Radio

Representatives of The Face of Sofia were special guests on the DamaCast podcast of Bulgarian National Radio.

We are glad to share that representatives of The Face of Sofia were special guests on the DamaCast podcast of Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).

In the episode, Boryana Neykova and Maria Tchakarova spoke about the project “The Women of Lozenets” — an initiative connecting past and present through the stories of remarkable women who left their mark on the cultural memory of Sofia.

In the conversation we described how, through contemporary technology and artificial intelligence, we can travel back in time and give new life to the stories of three remarkable figures connected with Lozenets and with Bulgarian culture:

Adriana Budevska — one of the most significant Bulgarian actresses, associated with the National Theatre, whose home today is The House of Sofia;

Penka Kasabova — a founder of pedagogy in Bulgaria and an inspiring figure in the country’s cultural life;

Irina Taseva — an exceptional actress of the National Theatre who left a vivid mark on Bulgarian stage art.

Our thanks go to Yana Spiridonova for the invitation and for this relaxed conversation, in which we had the chance to share the mission of The Face of Sofia — to preserve and tell the stories of the city in a living, human and contemporary way, through culture, art and technology.
